I bought Lenovo Legion Y520 (80WK002SJE) gaming laptop at approx. JPY 140K as the replacement of SONY VAIO Z(VPCZ21AJ) which have been used for 5 and a half years.
Last week the external graphic device suddenly stopped working, but it was very happy that the VAIO Z was able to work with Intel HD graphic. Bve is hardly to run on such a basic laptop graphic environment especially for developing add-ons.
The specification is the following:
- Processor: Intel Core i7-7700HQ (2.80GHz 2400MHz 6MB)
- Graphic: NVIDIA GTX1050Ti GDDR5 4G 4GB
- RAM: 16.0GB PC4-19200 DDR4 SODIMM 2400 MHz
There is a cheaper model – i5/GTX1050/HDD; that’s also nice but I prefer SSD.
I also considered Dell New Inspiron 15 Gaming; this model offers the similar spec to Y520 at a cheaper price, so very attractive. The reasons I chose Y520 were language – OS and keyboard.
Finally I am entirely satisfied with the performance of the new PC. Bve Nara line seems running so smoothly like 40 fps at lowest.
